Joy began with Ascending to Health in 2021 after working for several years as a CNA. She is 4-years sober and is passionate about ‘helping patients help themselves’ in their recovery journey. When asked “Why ATHRC” Joy shared that in addition to enjoying the atmosphere and her co-workers, she is committed to truly seeing and giving our unhoused patients the respect they deserve. When not singing karaoke or hiking, Joy enjoys facilitating AA meetings and helping others in recovery.
