Recognizing a gap in care for his unhoused patients, Greg Morris opened Ascending to Health Respite Care (ATH) in 2011. Greg has 30 years of experience working with the homeless, first through Peak Vista Community Health Centers, where he served as Director of the Homeless Health Center, then as full-time provider for Ascending to Health. Greg leads a Street Medicine program as part of Ascending to Health’s primary care practice, and recently completed certification in wound care to better serve his unhoused patients in clinic and in the field.

Greg has served as Executive Director and medical provider of Ascending to Health since its inception in 2011. He has served on the Board of Governance for the National Health Care for the Homeless Council (NHCHC) since 2013 and served on the Board of Directors from 2017 to 2019. Mr. Morris continues to provide consultation on Respite Care delivery models nationally on behalf of NACH. In 2019, Greg received recognition as El Paso County’s Public Health Champion. Greg is a mountain bike enthusiast, enjoys skiing and playing trivia.
